Santa Secret Wish List

Through the efforts of the Valley Community Association, Peerless was able to participate in a Christmas Santa Secret program. Thanks to the Peerless' family and friends, we were able to raise enough money to provide everything on our adopted family's Christmas wish list!
Buffalo's Valley Community Association has served the needs of the community for over 40 years by providing programs aimed at improving the social well being of local residents. A special thank you goes to the VCA for organizing such a great program and Peerless looks forward to being a part of it in 2010.

Vietnam Veterans of American Food Drive

VVA is the only national veterans group that focuses on the problems and needs of veterans and their families. In an effort to help support the Western New York chapter of the VVA, Peerless is hosting a food drive! Beginning Wednesday, 11/3, there will be a box outside of Sandy's office for the collection of all food gifts.

What can you contribute??

· Canned and boxed foods (soup, chili, stew, macaroni and cheese)
· Peanut butter
· Canned or dried beans and peas (black, pinto and lentils)
· Pasta and rice
· Canned fruits
· Cereal-hot and cold
· 100% fruit juice (canned, plastic or boxed)

This food drive will end on Friday 11/19, just in time to support the Thanksgiving weekend. Feel free to stop by!

Tom brings over thirty years of experience in providing outstanding customer service to his new assignment here at Peerless. He earned his degree in Electrical Technology and has a passion for learning and understanding how things work, which will be a great asset in helping our customers identify the best solution for their requirements.

Tom has developed many loyal customers through his commitment to providing technical evaluation, consulting, product knowledge and an obsession for on-time performance, accuracy and communication. He is extremely excited about his new opportunity with Peerless and anxious to put his skill set to work for you, our valued customers.

We are extremely proud and excited to announce that Dan Morgan has recently joined the Peerless team as our Sales Engineer. Dan is a recent graduate of Clarkson University which is well respected as one of the top engineering universities in the country. In May of this year he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical engineering, with a minor in Mathematics.

Dan possesses a unique skill set that will clearly be of benefit to our valued customer base. Dan’s knowledge and expertise will assist us here at Peerless, in our commitment to continuous improvement with our obsession for accuracy, on-time- performance, customer satisfaction and speed to quote.

Dan is a die-hard Buffalonian, growing up in Lancaster where he attended Lancaster High School before venturing off to Clarkson in Potsdam, NY. He knew all along that after graduation he wanted to return to his roots here in Western, NY and we are pleased that he did. Dan has many interests in addition to his career including music, photography, camping and anything sports related. He is involved in many community activities and has generously donated his time as a food drive volunteer for the Lancaster Food Pantry.
Dan is excited about this new opportunity and we know that he will work hard to bring value to your Peerless experience.

Danforth's Green Team

Peerless is proud to have been part of JW Danforth's GREEN TEAM for the Ride for Roswell, an annual fundraising bike ride for Roswell Park. In an effort to eliminate water bottle waste, 26 water stations were built so riders would be able to re-fill their water bottles along the route. Peerless had the opportunity to provide portable water hose assemblies for each of these water stations. A special thank you goes to all the volunteers at JW Danforth for their time and effort in making this GREEN TEAM happen!

2010 JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge, Buffalo NY

One of the biggest parties in Buffalo each year, this 3.5 mile run drew in 11,457 runners from 405 companies located in Western New York. In addition to everyone who participated in the walk/run, Delaware Park was filled with another 15,000 colleagues who partied in more than 300 corporate tents. Team Peerless was happy to catch up with partners and customers for a great post-race event. Check out a few pictures!

For the past four years, Lysa Elis has been attending Medaille College in pursuit of a bachelors degree in Business Administration.

After a great amount of hard work and dedication, we're all very happy, and very proud to announce that on Friday she received that degree! In addition to classes, exams, projects and study sessions, Lysa did it all while working full time and raising a family. An anonymous source reported that tens of thousands of excited travelers assembled in beautiful downtown Buffalo, New York this past weekend.

A reliable source tells us that these travelers came from all across the country to check out the great deals and outstanding customer service provided daily by Peerless at 79 Perry Street.

Further reports indicated that while checking out Peerless for their industrial solution requirements travelers and locals alike were seen enjoying a few beverages, checking out the great Buffalo food and some of them even took in a basketball game.
